Dispute Resolution
We have extensive experience in advising businesses on how to avoid costly and time consuming business disputes.
If a dispute arises, we can work with management on dealing with it and resolving it often without the need for expensive court action and sometimes preserving commercial relationships with your opponent.
We can help pursuing or defending the following claims:
- Contract disputes
- Negligence claims
- Property claims including landlord and tenant disputes and dilapidation claims
- Company and Shareholder disputes
- Partnership disputes
- Employment claims
- Debt recovery
- Winding up and bankruptcy proceedings
And more…
We have a particular interest in alternative forms of dispute resolution (ADR) such as arbitration (Rob is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators), mediation and, for construction disputes, adjudication.
We believe in trying hard to sort out the dispute quickly and at a low cost rather than allowing it to drag on so no-one wins.
